why american embassy-Pani and Power

no place to die : maybe thats why

a small note written for

when i wrote the small note 

should the american embassy keep provision for drinking water, as they force people to walk and dont even allow shops. thankfully they dont give water...free drinking water from america will go a long way to privatise all our waters...but i am thirsty.

many things remained unsaid....

over the years america has been one of the leading cultures that propugate scarcity..
scarcity of water, 'good' air, enviroment, health, land, food, safety, money, human relationships..and the list is only growing. it is this this threat that pays a key role in amrican style world order where in only a certain culture (the participants of nato) have monopoly over all the advertised solutions to these scarcities. ...

this gives america ( as the leader of nato) (nato= north atlantic treaty organization : for a detailed list see *scroll down)the status which legitemises any kind of act done in the name of american safety.  in the heart of kolkata a street - yes happens to be called Ho Chi Minh sarani- is out of bounds for vehicular traffic and hawkers for over a decade now). 


this is not a rare thing..historically we have seen that one country can enjoy a privilaged postion in another country....but then we also wish that the guest contry stays like a good guest...
there is no drinking water provision for people standing in visa ques, nor for the people who are forced to walk in the summer heat just to ensure american safety.....nor for the police who sit in the heat all day to protect this 'american territory'. this is not the kind of good guest behavior the sub continental culture is used to. 


infact being forced to walk, makes you want to rush into a shop and buy a bottle of water...


privatizasion and resultant commercialisation of water and other natural resources..is closely linked to the scarcity propoganda....

this is the fabric on which i choose to make an intervention in
